Speaking of Christmas; for most students, it is this time of the year when they finally get their share of Promised Land under their very own roof: not only will they indulge on milk and honey, but much more will be served that manna from the heavens shrinks in comparison (assuming they are not below poverty line). Of course, the biggest and arguably the most important aspect of having Christmas for these students is their release from the shackles of education (or terror teachers).

Ignorance is definitely bliss.

While food is very much welcome—and indeed it is the one thing I cannot possibly refuse under normal circumstances—it, I think, is a very effective blinding mechanism. Students during the holidays are like pigs getting ready for slaughter; it is the stage when they forget everything but pleasure, and food, until the holidays come to a halt and they will be sent to the butchers in their respective schools for a thorough carnage. They who fail to notice this will not be ready when the knife comes crashing down on their bones. Lucky for me, I never get fat so I doubt I would be included.

Well then, that’s enough about Christmas because I’m starting to get sick of it.
