What is it with girls and menstruation?

A question I’ve been asking since who-knows-when, it is their never-ending emotional outbursts whenever they bloom red-blood roses (I can only imagine, it’s not like I’ve ever seen one) that irks me so much. Using menstruation as an excuse for their monstrous behavior, while personal, is definitely invalid, in the opinion of a rational person like me.

That was what I thought until now.

Seeing my sister cry out in pain this morning due to this peculiarity of a girl’s inner system makes me think twice on my allegations of unforgivable—what?! They actually offer chocolates to girls when they undergo menstruation?! (Just heard it from Mom.) What blasphemy is this?! I don’t get it!

...I decided I don’t really care anyway. *sulks*
